These candles are made from refined imported wax.  They are either hand thrown (the “fossil” group) or hand painted with non-toxic pigments. Designs vary from ethnic African to modern.  The frosted and “fossil” candles may be fragranced, but as the pigments used for decoration do not mix with the fragrances, the painted candles are not scented.
